Building Ping Pong Tables for the Classroom
Tables for your room can be constructed easily and cheaply.. The following procedure is for making ping pong tables without legs. They can be easily stored in a corner of the room and quickly set up when they are needed, using the students’ desks as supports
- Buy 4’ X 8’ plywood sheets
- Paint them green
- Paint (or tape) a white line down the middle of the table in both directions
- Buy attachable nets, paddles, and balls
- When they are needed, use the students’ desks as a platform to support the ping pong table
- When they are not needed, simply store them in a corner of the room.
